Mr Joshua Lee

Joshua Lee is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who provides a comprehensive hip and knee practice that ranges from sports injuries and joint preservation surgery to joint replacement surgery. He has a particular interest in arthroscopic and minimally invasive, tissue sparing surgery.

 

Mr Lee completed his Orthopaedic Training on the North West Thames rotation in West London. Prior to this he spent a year in research based at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, investigating the long-term wear properties of total knee replacements.
He completed sub-specialist training in Hip and Knee surgery on the prestigious Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at The Ottawa Hospital in Canada. Working with world renowned surgeon, Dr Paul Beaulé, he developed an interest in hip joint preservation surgery and tissue sparing hip joint replacement surgery. Additionally, he gained fellowship training in Major Trauma at St Mary’s Hospital in London.

 

He was appointed as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to Barts and The Royal London Hospital, the oldest teaching hospital in the country. He undertakes all aspects of hip and knee surgery, as well as training the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons. He is also actively involved in research and has presented at both national and international conferences.
